Discussion on fire prevention and smoke exhaust designs in high-rise buildings

The high-rise buildings have became majority among all building forms in the current construction of cities. In order to satisfy the needs of inside structure and functional design, high-rise buildings were commonly designed with a complex interior, which brought many challenges to us around the fire prevention. On the basis of the practical situation, this paper introduces some knowledge about high-rise buildings and then makes analysis to relevant design principles of fire prevention and smoke exhaustion in these buildings.
