Abstract: | The adsorption property of oil pollutants in water by powdered activated carbon (PAC) were investigated using 0# diesel oil as study object. The results indicated that PAC could be used to remove oil pollutants in water. The removal effieiencies of pollutants in pure water and raw water could be all greater than 70% when the initial concentration of diesel oil was 3 rag/L, the adsorption time was 30 rain and dosage of PAC was 20 mg/L. PAC could be used for the treatment of diesel oil 29 and 30 times exceeding the standards in pure water and raw water with maximum PAC dosage of 80 mg/L. |
