大学英语专业精读课中文化意识的培养

The Cultivation of Cultural Awareness in Contemporary College English Teaching

Language and culture are inseparable and complementary. Language is not only an integral part of culture,but also the carrier of culture. The English major students must have a good grasp of culture if they want to learn language well. Therefore,Contemporary College English,as one of the most important course,cannot exist without the cultivation and infiltration of culture. The combination of language teaching and culture teaching certainly will strengthen the students＇ understanding about cross-cultural differences and enhance their cognition about articles.
