| Abstract: | Constitution and fundamental of a newly developed on-line SO2 analyzer using ultra-violet absorption spectrometry is described. The analyzer consists of ultra-violet light source, sulphur dioxide measuring cell and light signal receiver. It's used to measure micro sulphur dioxide of gases at the inlet and outlet of the second stage conversion in sulphuric acid production with satisfactory results. |
