Thanks to the development of economic and improvement of people＇s living standards, Hongmu furniture industry is growing rapidly in the past ten years, more and more consumer have their sights set on Hongmu furniture. By means of breakthrough the confine of traditional furniture＇s use function, Hong mu furniture has become a new favorite of collectors. The verve added by soft decorations promoted the development of Hongmu furniture＇s soft decorations. This paper outlined the development history of soft decorations, and analyzed the evolution of the soft decorations in traditional and New Chinese-Style Furni ture in aspect of material, pattern and color.
