Abstract:In this paper, the excavation and supporting project for construction of Fo Da Tunnel and Daping Station Tunnel of the light railway in Chongqing is introduced. The technology of monitoring and control on ground settlement, deleterious effect of construction on the aboveground buildings as well as blasting vibration is described.
