Abstract:In order to analyze the impact of rainfall on slope stability more accurately, the long-term stability of the gangue field of Wangjialing Coal Preparation was considered in consideration of the cumulative effect of multiple rainfalls. Through the analysis of rainfall infiltration process, the spatial and temporal changes of rainfall infiltration are determined. The article puts forward that effective rainfall can be used to analyze the historical rainfall as current rainfall. The unsaturated strength theory was used to determine the effect of rainfall infiltration on the strength of gangue material. The calculation of the slope of the gangue field shows that with the increase of rainfall, the wet peak of waste rock gradually deepens, and the matrix suction of the material gradually decreases from top to bottom. The stability coefficient of the slope is also continuously decreasing. When the rainfall is greater than 90 mm, the falling speed will be accelerated. When the rainfall reaches 300 mm, the slope will be in an unstable state. Based on the rainfall data of the gangue field in the past 10 years, the maximum effective rainfall of the slope is calculated to be 93.17 mm. Under this rainfall, the slope stability coefficient is 1.2. It proves that under the existing conditions, the slope of the gangue field will not be destabilized and damaged due to rainfall.
