Vectorized Monte Carlo photon transport

The results of current research in the development of a Cray algorithm for time-dependent Monte Carlo photon radiation transport is presented. The method that has been developed is a fully vectorized particle-vector scheme. This technique tracks groups of particles simultaneously using a vector-stack formalism based upon particle events. Timing comparisons between this algorithm and the traditional single-particle approach are presented.
