Abstract:The development of automobile industry is inseparable from the acquisition and utilization of resources.However,most of the materials used for automobile are limited and non-renewable,so the recycling and reuse of resources is the principle that must be implemented in the closed-loop design of automotive products.Based on the life distribution function of passenger vehicles,the relationship between the number of end-of-life vehicles(ELVs)and the value of parts recovery is established.Through the establishment of the theoretical value model of the three major recycling and utilization modes(parts reuse,remanufacturing and upgrading remanufacturing)for the ELV parts,the recycling value evaluation system is formed.With the car engine as a sample part,the research results show that the direct reuse(or remanufacturing)of the engine for each 1,000 small passenger cars is equivalent to 44(or 21)new engines.
