| Abstract: | The reaction between benzaldehyde and chitosan formed N-benzylidene chitosan. The aminothourea-grafted chitosan was synthesized by the reaction of the N-benzylidene chitosan with aminothiourea. The structure of these compounds was confirmed by IR spectral analysis. |
