| Abstract: | Because of the bad and repeated tectonic movements, which contributes much to the well-developed igneous rock in Gaoyou Depression of North-Jiangsu Basin, that creates a favourable condition for us to search for the new type of oil/ gas reservoir in such an area. By the drilling data cited in the paper it shows that the areas where diabase exist are positively of benefit to oil/gas generation, but it is not the case for oil/ gas accumulation and reservation. The basalt built-up areas are believed to be beneficial to detecting the hydrocarbon having bearing with the basalt. |
