Voices from the Margin --An Analysis of the "Ghost" Images in The Woman Warrior

The Woman Warrior,written by Chinese American Maxine Kingston,is an autobiographical fiction of rebellion against sexual and racial discriminations.It is fused with not the less of history,romances and imaginative incidents,of which the image of ghost is frequently touched on.By the anatomization of such "ghost" images,this paper reveals that they are meant to overthrow the discourse of discriminations both in gender and race.Hence,the paper,through this work,utters the repressive voices and reconstructs the identity for double-marginalized female Chinese Americans.
