高分辨率年代地层对比的困境与发展方向

地层完整性是指地层剖面上保存下来的沉积物所代表的地质时间与该剖面所代表的总时间之比。由于沉积物沉积过程的脉冲性和不连续性，地层剖面的完整性是一个大于０小于１的小数，也就是说，地层剖面或多或少都是不完整的的。地层剖在的这一性质对年代地层对比有着极不为利的影响。

An Approach to High resolution Chronostratigraphic Correlation

The completeness of a section is the fraction of time intervals of some specified length (t) that have left a recrods.It has a probability to take a value between one and zero because of pulse and discontinuous nature of sedimentation.The incompleteness of a section generates bad effects on chronostratigraphic correlation,since those sections constituted by pelagic sediments considered as a chronostratigraphic stratotype are not complete.Moreover,the species made rates of natural species are not less than 1 million years,which obstructs the improvement of chronostratigraphic correlation precies.As a result,it is almost impossible to improve precision of stratigraphic correlation.It is suggested that only the holostratigraphy based on the high resolution event stratigraphy and global cyclic stratigraphy and combined with biostratigraphy,magnetostratigraphy,chemostratigraphy and tectonic stratigraphy be future stratigraphy.
