| Abstract: | The paper reported the safe purging method and its course analysis for new-built or repair-needed gas pipelines and equipments before running or overhaul. The writer put forward a new purging process,the mid-passing purging process, which is mainly used for city gas networks or transmission pipelines. This process not only has the advantages of the direct purging process and the indirect purging process, but overcame their shortages. |
