| Abstract: | When is set as a maximal subgroup of a finite group ,A pair （ C,D） of subgroups of G is called a θ - pair of if satisfying the following conditions： （ 1） D⊿G,D⊿C; （ 2） M,C = G,M,D = M; and; （ 3） C/D which has no proper normal subgroup of G/D . The purpose of this paper is to investigate the structure of a finite group by using the concept of the θ - pair. We hold some new characterizations of a finite group being solvable or supersolvable. |
