Abstract:± 800 kV DC transmission is a current transmission approach of the world's highest level in the area of the direct current transmission system.±800 kV HVDC thyristor valve is the key equipment in Ultra-High Voltage DC(UHVDC) transmission.It must be taken rigorously type test before put into operation.AC voltage test of single valve is a special test item in the valve dielectric tests.In this paper,taking the first domestic independent testing,± 800 kV thyristor valve dielectric test,as an example,introduces the associated electrical structure,and studies the test methods on single valve's AC voltage test.
