克尔效应在超短脉冲放大中的影响

摘    要:从麦克斯韦方程组出发,在考虑了克尔放大介质的增益饱和、增益谱、群速度色散和克尔效应后,建立了描述超短光脉冲在激光放大介质中传输特性的物理模型。运用分步傅里叶变换法,得到了表征克尔效应强弱的B积分及其对光脉冲产生的频率啁啾。最后讨论了克尔效应对光脉冲形状和频谱的影响。

Abstract:Using Maxwell equations,after the influences of gain saturation,gain spectrum,group velocity dispersion and Kerr effect in Kerr amplifying medium were taken into consideration,the physical model to describe the propagation properties of ultrashort optical pulse in the medium has been built up.Using split-step Fourier method,the B integral to indicate the intensity of Kerr effect and frequency chirp generated by it have been obtained.Finally,the influence of Kerr effect on the profile and power spectrum of a optical pulse has been discussed.
