摘    要:采用压痕 -弯曲强度法获得了Al2 O3 -SiCw和Al2 O3 -TiCp两种复合材料的阻力曲线 ,结果表明 ,与基体材料相比 ,两种材料均呈现出明显的上升阻力曲线行为。其中Al2 O3 -SiCw复合材料显示出更为优越的抗裂纹扩展能力。通过SEM观察及理论分析可知 :材料的增韧机理及显微组织是产生这一现象的主要原因。

Abstract:The crack-growth-resistance (R-curve ) behavior of Al 2O 3-SiCw and Al 2O 3-TiCp ceramic matrix composites was estimated by the indentation-strength method . The results show that both materials exhibited rising R-curve behavior .and in which the Al 2O 3-SiCw composite displayed better damage tolerance and higher resistance to crack growth .From SEM observation and theoretical analysis ,it was inferred that this phenomenon can be attributed mainly to the microstructure and the toughening mechanism of the materials
