| Abstract: | The progress of the technologies of removing mercaptans(thiol) from light oil in refinery industry is reviewed. Some Merox processes for removing thiol are described, and the application status of thiol removing technologies developed inland is presented. The direction of research and development for the technologies of removing mercpatans from light oil is pointed out. |
