Study on the Aesthetic Expression of Plants and Stones in the Ancient Paintings of Ladies in Garden

The paintings of ladies began in the Tang Dynasty. It reflected the social life at that time and conveyed the special classical artistic interest and aesthetic mode by shaping the beautiful and moving images of women. It is important to study the ancient paintings of ladies in garden to reveal the aesthetic characteristics of the garden space as women. With the selected ancient paintings of ladies in garden as the research object, the significant aesthetic characteristics of tiny space presented by plants and stones in these paintings are studied, in order to understand the aesthetic style of stones and plants by ancient painters, to further explain and reveal the essential appearance and connotation of classical garden aesthetics, and to provide enlightenment for the protection of traditional garden history and the inheritance of tradition in modern garden design
