| Abstract: | Based upon the analysis of the heating process, a mathematical model of the continuous reheating furnace is proposed in this paper. The measurable variables in furnace are used to estimate the temperature distribution of raw steel in the furnace. A relationship between the furnace temperature of raw steel and the optimizing set value control is established. A mathod for calculating the optimal set value of the furnace temperature is given. |
