| Abstract: | This paper gives a relative sensitivity analysis method for predicting the dynamic modification of a tripod structure. A formula is derived for calculating the sensitivity of the natural frequency of a tripod structure regarding the parameters. As an example, the relative sensitivity on a tripod mount structure of a machine gun is calculated. The results are found to be satisfactory. |
