摘    要:嵌入式uClinux操作系统具备完善的网络功能,支持多线程的内核调度机制。采用基于ARM7TDMI核的微处理器S3C44BOX,其上移植uClinux嵌入式操作系统,以CS8900A作为网络接口芯片,应用uClinux多线程编程技术实现串口设备的以太网接入,完成双方的数据互发。该设计具有灵活、功能扩展简单、功耗低的特点,为传统的串口设备接入以太网提供了一种解决方案。

Design of Ethernet Access for Serial Devices Based on S3C44B0X and UClinux

Abstract:UClinux embedded operating system has perfect networking performances, supports multi-threaded kernel scheduling mechanism. Processor S3C44BOX based on core ARM7TDMI, on which uClinux operating system is transplanted, is used in this design. CS8900A is adopted as network interface chip, and multi-threaded programming technology is used to realize the Ethernet access for some serial devices. Data transmission between serial port and Ethernet is achieved. This design has some characteristics, such as flexibility, low power consumption, simple expansion of function. It provides a solution for some traditional serial equipments to access Ethernet.
