基于ALE法的磨料水射流加工数值模拟

摘    要:采用ALE(arbitrary lagrange-euler)算法建立了磨料水射流加工的仿真模型,模拟了从射流进入喷嘴到去除材料的加工全过程。工件采用Lagrange网格,磨料和水采用ALE网格,通过ALE和Lagrange网格的耦合算法实现射流对工件的侵蚀作用。通过给定ALE网格运动来定义射流的横移速度,从而减少了网格定义域。提出磨料的本构模型,通过定义初始ALE单元内两种材料的体积百分比实现磨料与水的均匀混合。仿真结果给出了一些加工参数对切割深度的影响规律,通过与实验数据的比较,验证了仿真模型和结果的正确性。

Abstract:An abrasive water jet machining model was created to simulate the whole stage from the jet into the nozzle to the work piece material removal process using the ALE (Arbitrary Lagrange-Euler) algorithm. The mesh for the abrasive and water was based on the ALE formulation, while the Lagrange formulation was applied to the target mesh. The effect of jet penetration was implemented by coupling the grids of the ALE and Lagrange. The jet traverse speed was achieved by definition of the movement of the ALE grid to reduce the mesh domain. The abrasive constitutive equations were also presented. The uniform mixture for abrasive and water was achieved by definition of volume percentage of the two materials in the initial ALE elements. Simulation results gave the relationships between processing parameters and the cutting depth. The good agreement between simulation results and experimental data verifies the correctness of the simulation.
