Prediction of ternary azeotropes

Interaction constants for binary azeotropic mixtures have been used in conjunction with binary azeotropic information to predict ternary azeotropic compositions and temperature. The method operates within a general classification of liquids based on their hydrogen bonding capabilities, and therefore may be used to predict ternary azeotropic information of a wide variety of mixtures.
