Sedimentation of suspensions of particles of two or more sizes |

| Abstract: | A simple model is developed for the sedimentation of particles of mixed sizes and is tested experimentally for binary systems. A correction factor has been determined to allow for the interactions between particles settling at ditterent velocities. |
