Abstract:Laser holographic interferometer system was used to visualize the concentration profiles within the vicinity of the gas-liquid interface under the co-current flowing conditions of gas/liquid two fluids. Interferograms on different experimental conditions were obtained, and the concentration profiles as well as the thickness of the concentration boundary layer were calculated. Finally the influence of the Reynolds number of the liquid phase on the boundary layer thickness was discussed.
