Abstract: | Focuses on the responsibilities of supervisors in training supervisees to practice ethically. Those responsibilities are described as promoting ethical knowledge and behavior, primarily through J. R. Rest's (1984) 4 psychological processes and K. S. Kitchener's (1984) 5 ethical principles; promoting competency of the trainee; and assessing and promoting personal functioning of the supervisee.
