| Abstract: | This paper uses tri-tuple to represent conceptual view of an object-oriented database, and formally defines various operations on OODBs. Because message passing is substantially subject to side-effects, all the operations on OODBscan not avoid side-effects. The data model presented in this paper well define theside effects of these operations. |
