摘    要:传统的嵌入式以太网硬件方案一般包括了一片微控制器或微处理器芯片和一片负责以太网通信的专用芯片.这样的设计方案导致了较大的PCB面积以及由于多芯片的使用而导致的潜在的稳定性问题.提出了一种基于LM3S6100的ARM Cortex-M3微控制器的嵌入式以太网硬件设计方案.在该控制器中完整集成了包含PHY和MAC功能的以太网控制器,因此,能够单芯片配合外围元器件实现以太网接入.这样的硬件设计方法提高了系统的稳定性并且大大减少了设计和制造成本.详细介绍了核心硬件电路的设计方法,其硬件方案的样品已经设计制造成功,样品测试正常,工作稳定可靠.

Abstract:Traditional scheme of embedded Ethemet hardware typically includes a microcontroller or microprocessor chip,and a piece of special chip which is responsible for the Ethemet communication.This design scheme leads to a larger area of PCB and the potential problems of stability caused by using the multiple chips.An embedded Ethemet hardware design scheme based on the ARM architecture LM3S6100 M3 microcontroller is proposed.The controller completely integrates the function of the PHY and MAC Ethemet controller; therefore,it can realize Ethemet connection with single chip and peripheral components.The hardware design method improves the stability of the system,and greatly reduces the design and manufacture cost.This paper details the core design method of hardware circuit.The sample based on the hardware scheme has been designed and manufactured successfully.Sample test is normal,stable and reliable.
