Difference between Chinese and Western Coloring and its Influence on Modern Art Design

Color is the initinal element of visual perception and plays a vital role in modern art design. It is the most obvious and eye-catching element,Which can attract people for the first sight.The symbolic of coloring should be discussed first,which indicates that people from different nation and with different cultural background will develop different psychological perception.This thesis discusses the difference between traditional Chinese and western coloring by comparing the culture of color,religion and folk custom,which may do some contributions for the modern art design.
