Abstract:Ultrasound pretreatment was applied to improve the extraction process of polysaccharides from Rhizoma Anemarrhenae.Single factor experiments for extraction time,ratio of solvent to material,extraction times and ultrasonic power were firstly performed to investigate the effect on the yield of Polysaccharides from Rhizoma Anemarrhenae.Subsequently,response surface methodology based on Box-Behnken experimental design was employed to evaluate the interactive effects of four crucial variables including extraction time,ratio of solvent to material,extraction times and ultrasonic power.One mathematical model for the yield of Polysaccharides from Rhizoma Anemarrhenae as functions of the four variables was established.The results showed that the optimal extraction conditions of polysaccharides were as follows:extraction time 117min,ratio of solvent to material 11mL/g,extraction times 2 and ultrasonic power 92 W.Under the optimal conditions,the yield was up to 30.21%.,which was in agreement with the calculated value.
