| Abstract: | This paper presents an improved ion-exchange-resin technology which had been used to process high-rigidity water efficiently. It is found that for this technology, alkalinity is the most important factor to optimize the whole process. The advantages of this improved technology are low cost in operation and less pollutants released into the environment. |
