| Abstract: | The analysis of sidesways of staggered steel truss structure is discussed.The mathematical model of an equivalent continum is proposed and solved by the lateral shear rigidity method.The suggested method is clear in conception and convenient in calculation.Finally,a numerical example is shown for reference is designing. |
