Abstract:
The paper presents the results of the research and the development of the universal adaptive compliant device for customary assembly task robot configurations. The developed system is based on a newly developed SCARA robotic mechanism and combined properties of the SCARA concept and RCC devices. It successfully operates around its true compliance center, obtained under precisely determined conditions.
