摘    要:塔北隆起是一个形成于加里东期-海西期的前中生代潜伏隆起,包括4隆2凹,垂向上由加里东期-海西早期的台背斜才海面晚期的逆冲-褶皱系叠置而成,横向上自北而隆起幅度降低,纵向上东段发育向扩展的前冲型叠瓦扇,西段发育向北逆冲的反冲型逆冲断层。

Abstract:The Northern Tarim Uplift is a pre-Mesozoic hidden uplift formed inCaledonian-Hercynian period, which consists of four sub-uplifts and two depressions. Theuplift is composed vertically of anticlines formed in Caledonian-early Hercynian period. Its amplitude decreases from north to south. Fore-thrust imbricated fans propagatedsouthward and back-thrust faults northward are developed in eastern and western sections of the uplift respectively. Main factors that influence structural framework of NorthernTarim Uplift include: (l) continuous regional compression from north to south, (2)amplitude of paleo-uplift formed in Caledonian-early Hercynian period, and (3) scissor-likeclosure of southern Tianshan Ocean from its east to west parts.
