Abstract:The influence of additives on slag-iron separation when high-iron-content red mud was direct ly reduced by coal was researched. The results showed that a relatively satisfactory index can be gained by the following conditions: the amount of oxygen-type additive is 3%, reducing time is 120 min and the reducing temperature is 1473K.
