| Abstract: | This paper proposes a finite element/nodal volume procedure for the isothermal flow simulation of liquid composite molding processes. The formulation and the numerical implementation of the procedure are described. A scheme is introduced to prevent the procedure from possible locking in the flow calculation. The capability and the numerical accuracy of the procedure are investigated through a number of numerical examples. |
