基于法拉第效应的相位调制器研究

摘    要:光纤陀螺作为一种由固态元件组成的全固态器件,已经成为惯性制导和导航领域的一种关键设备。针对光纤陀螺中相位调制器件结构过于复杂的问题,提出了一种基于法拉第效应的相位调制器。本文首先分析了光纤环中的法拉第效应原理,在此基础上提出了一种新的相位调制器方案。该方案可以大大简化相位调制器的结构,降低陀螺成本。对低成本光纤陀螺的工程化应用具有非常显著的影响。

Abstract:Optical fiber gyroes,which is as a solid components from the solid-state device,has become a key equipment in the inertial navigation field.Now the structural of the phase modulator using in optical fiber gyroes is very complex and expensive.A new phase modulator based on Faraday effect is devised to resolve the problem.Firstly,this paper analyses the principle of Faraday effect,and then a new phase modulator based on this is devised.This scheme can simplify the structure of the phase modulator and reduce cost.For low-cost of fiber-optic gyroscope engineering application,it has significant influence.
