| Abstract: | In this paper, we present a new method for extracting contour from CT image. Using the image processing, we can obtain the planar contour data of CT image. Because the fitting of contour data points by B spline was not smooth and optimal, we had to make use of the new method to resolve those problems. We completed the surface reconstruction through CAD design tool by the contour data that were processed. Finally, an example of infant femoral 3D image reconstruction is presented. |
