Discussion on formulation technique for compound fertilizer from viewpoint of production

In the production of compound fertilizers, some essential factors such as the viscosity of raw materials, hygroscopic point, solubility, the compatibility among different substances, must be taken into account for easy manufacture and high quality product. Together with the author own experience for many years, the attaining of a mixture of raw materials with desired viscosity, the calculation of the portion of sandy materials and special additives for drying section, and the improving of hygroscopic point of product are discussed. Finally, a practical formula of 15-15-15 is exemplified.
