| Abstract: | The frequency varactor tuning characteristics of voltage‐controlled oscillators (VCO) on elements with distributed parameters are analysed and presented in a generalized form. The recommendations on the choice of transmission line type, circuit and varactor parameters for the purposes of widening and linearization of the voltage frequency tuning characteristics are given.
