| Abstract: | This paper develops an optimum method of design for typical cyclones.Thismethod is used to size cyclones according to critical particle diameter withoutexceeding a given range of pressure drop and permitting at the same time cal-culation of the effect of particle concentration on pressure drop and cyclone size,thereby obtaining the optimum construction for cyclones of high efficiency. |
