基于分段直方图均衡化技术的图像增强

摘    要:分析了传统灰度图像直方图均衡化算法存在的优缺点,提出了基于分段直方图均衡化技术的图像增强算法。该算法基于图像的特点,利用K均值聚类算法将图像分成几个灰度区间,然后再分别进行均衡化。实验结果表明,该算法对灰度呈现两端分布且低灰度区域有较多像素点分布的图像有较好的增强效果。

Abstract:Advantages and disadvantages on histogram equalization(HE) algorithm are analyzed, and an image enhancement algorithm based on separate (subsection) histogram equalization was presented. According to the characters of the images, the algorithm separated image into several regions by K-means clustering algorithm, and each region is equalized respectively within their gray levels, Experiments showed that the algorithm is effective for dispersive and low gray level distributing image.
