DQP:A Distributed Query Processor on Grid

Grid computing is one of the most attractive research fields currently,which enables all the geographically distributed resources,such as computational resources,storage systems,communication resources,software resources,information resources,knowledge resources,etc,widely sharing and collaboration.It also offers consistent and inexpensive access to resources irrespective of their physical location or access point.In this way it makes the whole Internet just like a supercomputer.The paper not only explains the grid computing's concepts,characteristic,open grid service architecture,but also introduces the OGSA-DQP's functions,architecture,implementing approaches and execution flows.
