| Abstract: | Based on oil and gas correlation and organic inclusion analyses and combined with data of tectonic inversion, hydrocarbon accumulation periods are discussed for Lishui sag, East China Sea basin. There are two major periods of hydrocarbon accumulation in the sag, with the Late?Middle Eocene one more important. The hydrocarbon preservation conditions may be a key to be successful in petroleum exploration in the sag. |
