Determination of Mn(Ⅱ) in aluminium alloy with microemulsion-5-Br-PADAP by spectrophotometry |

Abstract: | Mn(Ⅱ) in aluminium alloy was determined directly with the colorination system of 2-(5-Br-2-pyridylazo)-5-dethylaminophenol(5-Br-PADAP) and o/w microemulsion contained 85%water by spectrophotometry in this paper.the absorption of this complex compoundreaches maximunvalue and the absorption pcak is at 568nm.results show that Beer's law is obeyed when the Mn(Ⅱ) amount is 0~8μg /10mL,and the apparent molarabsorption coefficient is 1.178×105 L·mol-1·cm-1.The interference of Ni2+、Cu2+、 Ti2+、Cd2+、Zn2+ ions was eliminated by dimethylglyoxime、 sodium fluoride and citric acid,.Mn(Ⅱ) content in Fushun Aluminiumworks'Pu Aluminium、LD31were determined by the method,whose RSD is 0.92%、1.5%.the average recovery rate is 97.86% and 97.74%.the method has many advantages such as high sensitivity、high selectivity. |
