| Abstract: | Based on the research and analysis in outdoor lighting system of Antarctica scientific expedition stations, this article illustrates the advantages and disadvantages of application of LED （Light Emitting Diode） by comparing with other light sources and lu- minaires in the aspect of environmental suitability, energy consumption, lighting environ- ment, maintenance and lighting control. |
