| Abstract: | Magnetorheological(MR) fluids are a class of new intelligent material whose rheological characteristics change rapidly in the presence of an applied magnetic field. The main characteristics and the operation modes of MR fluids have been analysed, the applications of MR fluids devices in engineering field especially in mechanical engineer have been described, meanwhile, the key question for developing MR fluid devices have been put forward. |
