矾土基高铝—尖晶石质钢包浇注料的研制和应用

摘    要:以特级铝矾土、矾土基尖品石和烧结镁砂等为主要原料,采用超细粉凝聚结合,并对基质的化学矿物组成进行优化,开发出了矾土基高铝—尖晶石钢包浇注料。其烘烤特性良好,施工性能、物理性能及抗渣性比传统水玻璃结合的铝镁浇注料有显著提高。经在全国十多家钢厂的中小型钢包上使用,在绝大多数情况下其寿命比传统水玻璃结合的铝镁浇注料或铝镁炭发砖提高了100%以上。

Abstract:This paper introduces the conception of developing bauxite based high alumina-spinel castables for ladle linings,with high grade bauxite,sintered magnesia and ban-cite bed aintered spinel as the main raw materials.Through the adoption of coagulation bending of MgO-SiO2-H2O system and the optimization of matrix composition and formulation,the newly developed castables have shown satisfactory workability and preheating performance,much better physical properties and slag attack resistance than those of conventional water glass bonded Al2O3-MgO castables.They have haen found successful and cost effective in coping with low service life and high refractory consumption of ladles after being used in several concast ladles as alternative to conventional castables or Al2O3-MgO-C bricks, resulting in significant increase in lining lives by a factor of 2 in most cases.
